Fancy some raspberry pie?
No - not to eat - look here

or here for more technical details

Yes, it's a £15 pound computer capable of running Linux and I can see it taking the experimental and amateur radio world by storm.

There are obviously people keen to get hold of a potentially iconic board: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Raspberry-Pi-Model-B-beta-board-10-limited-series-10-/180786734741?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item2a17baa695
... or maybe get some sort of technical head start.
Personally I will wait for the £15 production boards.
At such a low price point I can see these being used as dedicated devices for a whole host of ideas.
One in the CARC shack to the drive the Steppir controller from both TS-2000 and FT-1000
One of these would probably save money on the electricity cost of running GB3MH and maybe even GB7MH.
Thanks for sharing...
£1900 v £15 1 Month wait, hmm difficult.

Rpi #10 went for £1900, but I see that #1 is still being auctioned and is currently up at £3500 with two days still to run.
#1 is lot number 180786868894 on that well know auction site.
